My School Diary: A Day in English Class 📚✨
Today was another exciting day at school! 🏫 First thing in the morning, we had an English class. Our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, started the lesson with a warm-up activity. We had to introduce ourselves in English, and I was so nervous but managed to say, "Hello, my name is Emma. I am twelve years old and I love reading books." 😊
After the introduction, we moved on to the main topic: verb tenses. Mrs. Johnson explained the past tense and how to use it in sentences. She gave us a fun exercise where we had to change simple present sentences into past tense. For example, "I go to school every day." became "I went to school yesterday." 🌟
We then worked in groups and came up with our own sentences. My group was really creative! We said, "We watched a movie last night, and it was so thrilling." I was so proud of our teamwork! 🤝
In the afternoon, we had a grammar quiz. I was a bit worried because I hadn't studied as much as I should have, but surprisingly, I did well! I got an A+! 😃
To end the day, we had a reading session. We read a short story together and discussed the characters and the plot. It was a great way to end a busy day at school. 📖
As I walked home, I felt happy and accomplished. English class today was fun and challenging, and I can't wait to learn more tomorrow! 🎉
