My English Diary - Dragon Boat Festival
Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, one of the most important traditional festivals in China. 🎉 I woke up early this morning to the sound of dragon boat races on the river. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy. 🏠
I spent the morning with my family making zongzi, the traditional sticky rice dumplings. It was a fun activity, and we laughed a lot while rolling the rice into perfect shapes. 🍚
In the afternoon, we went to a nearby park to watch the dragon boat races. The teams were wearing colorful costumes and had their faces painted. The boats glided ++oothly on the water, and the drumbeats were so powerful, they seemed to shake the very ground. 🚣♂️🎶
As the sun began to set, we had a delicious dinner of dumplings and tea. It was a perfect day filled with love, tradition, and family. I feel so lucky to be able to celebrate this special day with my loved ones. 🍲🏠
