【英语过年日记】🎉
Dear Diary,
Today is the most exciting day of the year! It's Chinese New Year! The whole family is gathered together, and the atmosphere is filled with joy and laughter. 🎊
First thing in the morning, we woke up to the sound of fireworks. It was like a symphony of crackling sounds, adding to the festive mood. 🎆
We started the day with a traditional breakfast of dumplings, also known as "Jiaozi" in Chinese. The dumplings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was delicious! 🍲
After breakfast, we put on our new clothes for the new year. Red is the color of good luck in China, so we all wore red dresses and shirts. It was like a sea of red in our living room! 🌊
We then spent the morning visiting our relatives and friends. Everyone greeted us with warm ++iles and blessings. It was heartwarming to see everyone happy and united. 🤗
In the afternoon, we had a big family gathering at my grandmother's house. She prepared a feast of delicious dishes, including chicken, fish, and a variety of vegetables. The table was laden with food, and we all enjoyed the feast together. 🍽️
As the evening approached, we lit up red lanterns and paper lanterns around the house. The colorful lights added a magical touch to the evening. 🏮
The highlight of the evening was the firecrackers and fireworks. The sky was painted with dazzling colors, and the ground was filled with the sound of crackling fireworks. It was a spectacular show! 🎆
As we sat around the table, we played a traditional Chinese game called "Dou Zhong". It's a game of luck and strategy, and it brought lots of laughter and excitement. 😄
Finally, as the night deepened, we all said our goodbyes and promised to meet again next year. The Chinese New Year has a way of bringing people closer together, and this year was no exception. 🌙
