【英语日记：春节篇】
🎉 February 1st, 2023 🎉
Dear Diary,
Today is the most exciting day of the year! It's the Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year! The whole family gathered together, and we had a wonderful time celebrating. We wore new clothes, ate delicious dumplings, and set off fireworks. The streets were decorated with red lanterns and couplets, creating a festive atmosphere. I even received red envelopes from my grandparents! It was a truly memorable day. 😄🧧🍲
We started the day with a traditional family breakfast. My grandma made a big pot of rice porridge, and we all enjoyed it while watching the Spring Festival Gala on TV. The performances were amazing, and the jokes made us laugh so hard! 🎭😂
After breakfast, we went to visit my grandparents. They gave us red envelopes filled with lucky money. I felt so grown up receiving them. We also played some traditional games, like playing cards and guessing riddles. It was a great way to bond with my family. 🎲🧐
In the afternoon, we went to the park to watch the fireworks. The sky was filled with colorful sparkles, and the sound of fireworks echoed through the air. It was like a magical world. 🎆🌟
We ended the day with a big family dinner. My mom cooked a variety of delicious dishes, including chicken, fish, and dumplings. We all sat around the table, sharing stories and laughter. It was a perfect end to a wonderful day. 🍽️😄
