My Chinese Language Diary 📖
Dear Diary,
Today was a wonderful day in my Chinese language class! 🌟 We started the day by reviewing the characters we learned last week. I am really impressed with how much I have improved in recognizing and writing them. 😊
During the class, our teacher introduced us to a new topic: "Family" (家庭). We learned some new vocabulary words such as "father" (爸爸), "mother" (妈妈), "brother" (哥哥), and "sister" (妹妹). I found it very interesting to learn about the different ways to express family relationships in Chinese.
After that, we had a fun activity where we paired up with a partner and practiced making simple sentences using the new vocabulary. I was really excited to share what I had learned with my partner, and we both had a great time practicing our Chinese. 😄
In the afternoon, we watched a short video about Chinese culture and traditions. It was fascinating to see how different customs and rituals are celebrated in different parts of China. I learned that the Chinese New Year is a very important festival, and people wear red clothes to bring good luck. 🎉
I am really enjoying learning Chinese, and I feel that I am making progress every day. I am looking forward to learning more about Chinese history, literature, and language in the coming weeks. I can't wait to see where this journey will take me! 🚀
